Cruise the Beautiful Li River

Li River is a beautiful river with picturesque landscapes. It winds its way from Guilin to Yangshuo and is perfect for a relaxing river cruise!

There are two ways to cruise along Li River. One wayis to take the big boat from Guilin to Yangshuo. It takes about fourhours.The other way is to rent a small boat or bamboo raft to cruise the river between Yangdi Town and Xingping Town. This is the highlight tour of Li River. In this way , you can be very close to the water, the hills and the nature. You can enjoy the picturesque landscape: feel the crystal clear water, see the buffaloes swimming or eating water weedin the river, the fisherman drawing the nets. Along the two banks of the river there are beautiful peaks, pretty bamboos, nice rice fields, quiet villages.

For this highlight tour: one can take a bus from Yangshuoto Xingping (about 40 minutes ), and then take a bamboo raft, upstream the river for sightseeing (about two hours ). Or take a bus from Yangshuo to Yangdi (about one hour ), and then take a bamboo raft cruise the river to Xingping ( about two hours ),and then take a bus from Xingping back to Yangshuo.
